Creating a Pool of Distributors for an MLM Business

Multi-level marketing is a business strategy that sells products through creating a network of independent distributors.  The created network is considered to be in a hierarchical model.  At the top level are the sales personnel or MLM consultants who have the responsibility to train, recruit, and manage a downline of sellers and distributors.  The existence of such hierarchy allows a fast track marketing strategy wherein the products are being promoted and distributed in order to gain a higher profit.

Usually, multi-level marketing strategy works by allowing a downline of sales personnel to acquire income not only through the sales that they personally generate but also for the other distributors that they have recruited and trained.  If sales personnel are at the higher level of the hierarchy, then a higher income is acquired.  For those personnel who are at the bottom level of the hierarchy, usually, they acquire the lower income.  Also, the higher level personnel gets to have a higher income without having to do a lot of work since the lower level personnel is the one doing most of the task. For network marketing consultants, the more recruits, the better.

Known to many people by a lot of terms, multi-level marketing is often referred to as network marketing, pyramid selling, and referral marketing.  Whatever term that this type of strategy has, the main goal is to promote products by way of direct selling and customer referrals.  The more people that you have established a good customer relationship, the higher the chances you have of getting and acquiring big income.

Avon, Electrolux, Tupperware and Kirby are among the companies that use multi-level marketing strategy.  These companies generate profit by recruiting independent distributors that they train in selling their products.  In return, the independent distributor has to train and recruit people in order to create their own network.  By creating a downline, sales projection is expected to be higher because of increase in well-trained sales personnel.  With more income generated by the downline, the better result would be for the independent distributor and for the company implementing the multi-level marketing strategy.

With the creation of a network of distributors, it is possible to quickly promote and sell goods and services.  Becoming a distributor or an MLM consultant, earning money will be easy since the income acquired is not only taken from the personally generated sales but it would also include a percentage of the sales of the downline of sales personnel who have been trained and recruited under your network.
