Simple Tips In Dealing with Eczema
- You should not bathe a lot. Changing how often you bathe prevents the water from evaporating your skin so it won’t become dryer the before. Eczema affected skin quickly loses water than the normal skin. There are other people who bathe more often by soaking and hydrating their skin in cool bath and lathering with emollient cream or ointments. These strategies work so you should just choose which one works for you.
- Use mild soap such as Dove For Sensitive Skin or Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar. Always moisturize. Instead of using lotion, use ointment or cream after bathing. Cetaphil cream, Vaseline, Aquaphor, Eucerin are among the products that you should use.
- Allergy pill like antihistamines may be very helpful to some people. Products like Benadryl can help relieve itching, also in childrens sleeping.
- When you have sudden eczema flare-up, use antibiotics. These flare-ups maybe linked to infections according to many dermatologists.
